Principal .NET Developer | Lead, Build & Shape a Collaborative SaaS Powerhouse

Up to £80,000 | .NET, Azure, TDD | Based in central Manchester | Benefits: Bonus scheme, learning budget, strong tech community ties, and more

We’re working with an award-winning SaaS brand on a journey of expansion.

This is a tight-knit, ambitious team that loves getting in a room together, bouncing ideas around a whiteboard, and trying new things, without the fear of failure holding them back. They believe the best solutions come from smart people collaborating face-to-face, testing bold ideas, and building each other up.

Now, they’re looking for a Principal .NET Developer to be at the heart of that. You’ll stay hands-on while guiding technical decisions, shaping architecture, and mentoring the next generation of talent - all while keeping that open, supportive “try culture” alive and thriving.

What You’ll Do:

  • Be the Anchor: Lead core technical strategy, steer architecture, and keep engineering standards sky-high.
  • Stay on the Tools: Design, build, and ship robust .NET solutions using Azure and modern best practices.
  • Champion Collaboration: Bring people together, encourage experimentation, and drive a culture where trying (and learning) is second nature.
  • Grow the Team: Mentor senior and mid-level devs, helping them level up their craft and confidence.
  • Work Cross-Functionally: Partner with QAs, BAs, Product, and Design to bring meaningful, high-quality features to life.

About You:

  • Deep experience with C#, .NET Core, Azure (or similar cloud platforms)
  • Strong advocate of TDD, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance architectural vision and real-world delivery
  • Natural collaborator who loves to share ideas and build people up

Why This Team?

  • Real Collaboration: They want you in the room - ideas flow better face-to-face, and they make space for it.
  • Try, Learn, Improve: There’s no blame culture, just smart people experimenting and learning fast.
  • Tech at the Core: This isn’t an IT department propping up a business, tech is the product.
  • Balance That Works: 4-day workweek, flexible hybrid working, and an environment built for sustainable success.
  • Culture People Brag About: 4.8-star rating on trustpilot- people genuinely love working here.

If you’re ready to take the lead, build great things, and help shape a team that’s all about collaboration and growth, let’s chat. Apply now or drop us a message to find out more.
