This isn’t just another DevOps role. The company is kicking off a multi-million-pound, 3-year technology programme, and you’ll be at the heart of it...shaping how platforms, automation, and cloud services come together to make a real-world impact.
What you’ll tackle:
- Build and grow a high-performing Platform Engineering team from scratch.
- Design resilient, scalable platforms across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid systems.
- Champion DevOps and automation to accelerate delivery and reduce complexity.
- Drive adoption of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to boost reliability and uptime.
- Experiment with new tools and technologies, keeping the platform future-proof.

What we’re looking for:
- Strong Azure cloud experience (compute, networking, resource management).
- Hands-on with Azure DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Boards, Repos.
- Familiarity with IaC (Terraform, ARM templates, Azure CLI).
- Deep understanding of modern platform management: DevOps, Agile, SRE, ITIL.
- Experience scaling platforms in regulated or complex environments.
- Excellent communicator who can influence senior stakeholders.
Why it’s worth it:
Because this isn’t just about building platforms it’s about building impact. Your work will help people live healthier, safer lives. You’ll join a collaborative, purpose-driven team where your innovations actually matter.
