DevOps Engineer

We are working with an exciting SaaS company that is revolutionising the way we interact with our mobile phone alerts daily through some amazing technology and a niche in the market for which they have quickly made a name for themselves.

Location | Workplace policy: Fully Remote

Salary: £65k - £70k (DOE) + Perks

With significant financial investment, the company has progressed well beyond the start-up stage and is now looking for a DevOps specialist to help optimise its infrastructure and database through user considered strategies.

What will you be doing?

• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with development and other teams.
• Shape the future of our platform with architects and engineers.
• Manage and improve monitoring, alerting, and infrastructure.
• Maintain high-quality DevOps solutions and documentation.

Key skills needed:

• Cloud and Containerization: Proven experience working with serverless architectures or containerized systems (e.g., Docker) on cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
• CI/CD Proficiency: Hands-on familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies for automating software delivery.
• Infrastructure as Code: Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and experience with tools like Terraform.
• Observability: Comfort with using observability tools to build and maintain highly observable systems that provide deep insights into live platform environments.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills for effectively sharing knowledge and collaborating with engineering teams.
• Technology Preference: Experience with TypeScript and Node.js is a plus but not required.
