Position: Associate Software Engineer | Owner Experience App team

We’re entering an exciting new phase of our tech and product strategy, with a focus on innovation, experimentation, and conversion at the heart of everything we do. Our mission is to elevate the web and mobile experience for our guests and owners, driving seamless journeys across all our group companies.

To achieve our goals, we’re looking to make some key hires and have a great role available for a passionate and ambitious Junior Mobile Developer looking to make your mark in your career.

🏡 What team will you be joining?

We're investing heavily in our Owner Experience products as we look at new ways to enhance the overall experience for our property owners with our mobile app front and centre of this strategy.

🏡 What will your role be?

Joining our engineering teams, you’ll join a culture which revolves around getting things done. We deliver with small, fully autonomous teams that have real ownership of their products using a cutting edge stack in a best-idea-wins meritocracy. We operate what we build – which means reliability is key and devops is part of every engineer’s job description.

• Work as part of our mobile app team, you’ll be responsible for building high-performance mobile applications using Flutter to ensure we continue to deliver optimal experiences for our owners.
• Help shape the overall architecture and tech strategy for our owner app product journey using the right technology for the task, rather than allowing the technology to dictate the solution.
• Contribute to driving best engineering practices such as CI/CD, TDD, cloud architectures and pair/mob programming.
• Experiment (it’s encouraged), collaborate, learn and debate.
• Be an active member of the engineering and wider tech community within Awaze.

🏡 Who are you?

We're looking for a Junior Developer with a passion for creating seamless mobile experiences and someone who thrives in a dynamic environment where innovation and user experience come first.

We don't expect you to be the finished article, more importantly we're looking for a strong passion for mobile app development and problem-solving. Coupled with this, it will however be great if you can offer:

• Some experience with Flutter & Dart (projects, internships, or personal apps).
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Git and version control is a plus.
• Knowledge of Firebase, state management (Provider, Riverpod, etc.), or native Android/iOS is a bonus—but not required!
